-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This section is updated once a year.
As for every year, our administrative offices and factory will be closed during the Chinese New Year that coincides with the recess of the high winter (retail ordering) season and prior to the start of the high (retail ordering) summer season. Delays must be expected during period falling within our annual shutdown to reply and ship. Your lead time, at this period of the year always factors in our closing period during which our Asian authorized subcontractors and vendors take their CNY month break. This year (2026) the closing will occur from the 4th of February to the 4th of March. We will resume full activity as of the 9th of March 2026. Thank you for your understanding. We are eager to serve as soon as we we return to work.
This year our factory (not offices) will also be closed from:
-----------------------------------
The countdown of our lead time starts from the first Monday immediately following the date of receipt of your agreed complete deposit, as determined by the value date credited by our bankers. To that effect, our finance department we will send you a notification to confirm receipt. to accelerate matters we urge you to send us every time your bank wire copy, to track your payment faster and credit you accurately.
Our standard production lead time (customized jewelry, packaging and displays) for new orders is 60 days not counting official national holidays in the USA and for our stainless steel line and/or Hong Kong official holidays. If the sixtieth day falls in the middle of the week, the countdown expires on the last working day of the week. Lead time means good are completed and packed in export cartons on standby ready to ship or be delivered to transporter. Should you require extra documents, the time required to complete and obtain all administrative export/import or customs paperwork needs to be added atop.
Lead time is affected also by our annual closin g for one week during U.S. Thanksgiving the third week of November and another week to nine days for Christmas and New Years' (days fluctuate depending on calendar).
N.B.
This section is permanently considered current.
Every year, we observe two peak production periods that increase significantly our lead time sometimes. So make note of these periods.
A) Period 1. Quarter preceding the start of winter high retail season (Caribbean, Indian Ocean, Tropical islands, Southern Hemisphere and snow ski resorts in the US - Canada Rockies and European Alps). Those months are: (Aug - Sept - Oct & Nov) for deliveries scheduled for Christmas retail sales. Avoid the rush.
B) Period 2. The quarter that precedes the start of summer high retail season in North America, Europe, and Mediterranean). This period runs from Mar - Apr to May.
Accurate dates are posted regularly every month. To avoid surprises, check frequently when is your ordering date scheduled for delivery.
Please note our administrative offices are closed on the following dates in the USA
Christmas Day (December 24) to New Year’s Day (January 1)
Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr. (3rd Monday in January)
Washington’s Birthday (3rd Monday in February)
Memorial Day (last Monday in May)
Independence Day (July 4) varies between 3 to 5 days
Labor Day (1st Monday in September) 1 to 3 days
Columbus Day (2nd Monday in October) 1 day
Veterans Day (November 11) 1 day
Thanksgiving Day (3rd Thursday of November) varies between 3 to 7 days.
Lead times are affected also with the closing of our Hong Kong office and packaging facility to match our merchandising (displays + packaging) vendors during HK CNY. Your contact at DENIZEN Hong Kong will inform you in due time if your order happens to be open and active during that period.
